Founded in New Orleans in 2019 by Nicholas Dischler III, D3 Woodworks specializes in creating custom furniture, cutting boards, and built-in units.

Nicholas utilizes his background in graphic design coupled with his fine attention to detail to design and produce high-quality and unique pieces for his clients.

Each custom piece is thoughtfully planned by thoroughly communicating and collaborating with the client, keeping their goals and desired outcome front of mind throughout the entire process.

When he’s not in his shop, Nicholas can often be found cooking or exploring the outdoors with his dog, Livy. His love of nature and hiking brought him to appreciate the craft of woodworking, where he is able to take the natural aspects of wood and turn them into a beautiful piece of furniture, a table for people to share a meal on, or a cutting board to functionally decorate a kitchen.
